The grand prize of 2015 Taipei Arts Awards is awarded to Hsiang-Lin WANG’s photographic workMetamorphosis, with 550,000 TWD. Honourable Mentions go to Sheng-Hung SHIU’s Sanchuan Statepainting series, Hsia-Fei CHANG’s performance Pacific Princess, Tay-Jou LIN’s video work My Body is an Air Quality Monitoring Station, Chih-Wei CHUANG’s Reborn Tree Series, and Musquiqui Chihying’s Modern Life is Dull. Other works are on the shortlist (Judges’ Award) are: I-Hsuan WENG’s Studying Destroyed Photos Series, Yung-Ta CHANG’s Relative Perception N°1 [ver.2], Chao-Hao LIAO’sWasteland, Yi-Chun LIN’s To the Family, the Stranger, To Residents, To People Ｗho Missed Each Other, Tsung Yun LAI’s iMachine: Refurbish Your Apples, Yu-Ping GUO’s Eastern Messiah, Peng Yi-Hsuan’s Impermanent Marks, Chi Chien’s Passing through the Post-Garden, Rae-Yuping Hsu’s The Phantom Limb in Pain: Karaoke Duet and Ting-Jung CHEN’s Atlas. 16 works are exhibited from December 19, 2015 to March 13, 2016 at B2 Galleries D, E, F of TFAM.
