The annual art competition and exhibition, the Taipei Arts Awards, has been successfully presented for many years by the Taipei Fine Arts
Museum and is a testament to the dynamism of Taiwan's contemporary art development. As a competitive award, it is an important indicator and predictor in the Taiwanese art world. It also encourages outstanding artists and artwork that is rich in epoch reflecting content, and stimulates diverse ideas and creative energy.
For the 2015 Taipei Arts Awards, applicants who first passed a two-stage selection process are as follows: Shiu Sheng-Hung, Weng I-Hsuan, Chang Yung-Ta, Hsia-Fei Chang, Lin Tay-Jou, Liao Chao-Hao, Musquiqui Chihying, Yi-Chun Lin, Lai Tsung Yun, Yu-Ping Guo, Chuang Chih-Wei, Peng Yi-Hsuan, Chi Chien, Rae-Yuping Hsu, Ting-Jung Chen and Hsiang-Lin Wang. Results of the competition will be on display in the museum from December 19, 2015 to March 13, 2016 in galleries D, E and F on the basement level.
