_WORK：THE_METAL_DETECTER_GATE_( Your Value Makes Me Laugh )

In december 2011, the time I was just back to Berlin from U.K, 

a news totally attracted my attention.About 45000 residents in Koblenz in Germany 

were evacuatedbecause officials found a WWII dud in River Rhine.

And experts predict there are still more than 100 thousand duds in Germany haven't be found.

The news let me think of that when I was in airport, 

waited in the line to pass the security check,the atmosphere was so serious, 

the officers checked each person carefully and solemnly, 

as if one of us is a bomb, and they are going to find it out.

Intro

When people with metal pass by the installation,

the machine will start the laugh sound.

The Volume changes with the distance or the amount of the metal.

_WORK : THE_FLAG_SKETCH

i found a tiny Soviet plastic flag in flea market few months ago,
it reminds me my childhood, 
almost all little boys share the same memory,
change room into a battlefield,
variety of weapons spread on the ground,
we become a warrior, a commander, or even a director.
few years later,
our plentiful imagination end with the appearance of
s t a r c r a f t

_WORK：TERRIFYING_NATIONAL_FIGHTER

this kind of deceptive inflatable weapons have already been widely used in WWII. in persian gulf war, Iraq also successfully preserved 70 percent of combat capability by using fake weapons and positions. people can say that, especially in the era of high-tech reconnaissance satellite, these low cost soft weapons can help the party, who is relatively weaker in wars to reduce losses, or even causes misjudgements of the opponent, and then reverse the situation.

in this work, i transformed an aircraft, which is researched and developed by my country start from 1983, made a approximately 1:6 inflatable fighter model. i increased the missiles carrying capacity of the aircraft, believe that it can shock enemies, and let them give up attacks.

_WORK：AS_LONG_AS_I_GROW_UP_SKETCH

i invited two of my old friends,to join a little video sketch.
the video is called "as long as i grow up" for the moment.
the title comes originally from a children's song in Taiwan,
a extremely bloody song.
although i am still thinking about the content,
i am pretty sure that i found right persons,
because their voice sounds really wonderful !

_WORK：TERRIFYING_NATIONAL_FIGHTER_SKETCH

recently i am trying to make a new toy,
i call him "terrifying national fighter",
the inspiration comes from a real aircraft,
which is made by Taiwan.
originaly he called "ching-kuo fighter 經國號",
however, the meaning of the name can be changed to 
"the fighter which can terrifies countries 驚國號" 
by using another word with same pronunciation in chinese.
that is, i am going to make a small air force, 
which can shocks other countries !

_WORK : THE MOON FROM RIGHT SIDE TO LEFT SIDE

i get a small room, 

which i started all my stuffs in this country,

there is a good view outside my windows,

although i can't really observe the movement of the moon,

i still feel the changes by my imagination.

at this moment, like the picture,

i just want to research the only torch in front of me.  

_WORK : ELEMENT OF SEA

my friend Simon, has introduced me an online game,

which allows players build their own world with extremely artificial technical,

everything in the virtual world is only an basic element,

players can use their creative imagination to invent new object

by combining different elements,

a little bit like a physics Lego world.

this sounded very interesting,

so i try to depict an " element of sea" ,

and this picture is the result.

_WORK : RADIO IRRIGATION

i started this work since 2009,

spent nearly one and half year to finish,

and it is also the latest work which i made in Taiwan.

in that period, i almost could't draw anything,

feel myself in valleys.

i am not really keen to this work,

however, it indeed accompanies me pass the downs,

and now, i feel better.

_WORK : THE STONES FROM OTHER MOUNTAINS

『 他 山 之 石 』" the stones from other mountains " 
is a famous traditional chinese proverb, 
which means 
 " the stones of other hills may can be used to polish gems ". 
people usually use the sentence to describe :
 the advices from others may help one's defects.

in the poster, i use a word, 
which has the same pronunciation, 
but different meaning to replace the first word of the proverb, 
becomes 『 塌 山 之 石 』" the collapsing stones from mountains ".

_WORK : I COME FROM R.O.T

since  starting live in berlin,

i have sent a lot of postcards to my friends and family,

some people who come from Taiwan may feel very strange like me,

why should we write " R.O.C ( Republic of China ) " before the address,

in my opinion,

it is better that, we change the words become :

R.O.T ( Republic of Taiwan ),

in case that postmen send the mail to the mainland china.
